HealthExperiencesUSA website featured in New York Times and USA Today

Health Experiences USA LogoThe Database of Patient Experiences (DIPEx) methodology used to develop HealthExperiencesUSA.org, a website that brings patients’ voices to American healthcare, was recently featured in articles in both the New York Times and USA Today as an important resource that can enable patients with depression to identify with others who suffer from the disease. The New York Times article discussed the far-reaching benefits for patients with a wide range of diseases to hear the stories of others who have faced the same condition. In USA Today, a senior pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in Bethlehem, PA discussed misconceptions about depression and cited HealthExperiencesUSA.org as a resource for better understanding the the perspective of those suffering from it. Depression in Young Adults was the first module to be launched on HealthExperiencesUSA.org, and three new modules are now available on the site. Check out all modules by clicking here.
