The Wisconsin Health Information Organization (WHIO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality, affordability, safety, and efficiency of health care in Wisconsin by providing high quality, reliable, integrated claims data to all stakeholders seeking to transform healthcare. Through their partnerships with providers, purchasers, and consumers, WHIO has been able to create one of the only statewide voluntary All-Payer Claims Databases in the nation, which includes more than 4.8 million individuals (>84% of Wisconsin’s population), and over 423 million claims.
